When the craziness of Christmas is over and the last of the turkey sandwiches are devoured, it’s time to look at what needs to be done to the house in the New Year.  If you have a tiling project on your list of ‘to-do’s’, here’s some ideas that can re-invent your interiors to great effect…

1) Colour Feature with Wood Effect

The colourful tiles effect seen against wood can really pop colours into the room in a contemporary way.  See our colourful Glass Mosaic range against a wood-effect tile like Country Wood.

2) Mix up Colours or Patterns

To get an interesting look use tile ranges with different colours within the range that you can mix match to create different designs.  This will make all the difference in defining a room’s vibe, in some instances they can be the signature style of the room above all else and they make your bathroom or kitchen more personal. With these kinds of tile options can randomly put together the patterns and create something quite unique. Two great examples of this our the Chess range to create a checkerboard effect or the Subway in a herringbone pattern.

3) Go Large!

Larger tiles are becoming more popular, they are easier to maintain once fixed and, with improved accessible tools, are easier than ever to have fitted. The traditional style of 25x20s are being superseded by 60x60s which are more in vogue.  The Lounge and Vado tile ranges are great value examples of gloss and matt finishes in this size.
